To launch a new campaign from Doritos to ‘crunch’ stereotypes in sport and beyond, we unveiled a 2774 square foot mural of Lioness and Manchester City footballer, Chloe Kelly, in the heart of Manchester.

Chloe Kelly delivered a penalty more powerful than any shot recorded in the top England men’s football tournament for the 22-23 season and clocking in a 69mph – yet only one in six (17%) UK adults believe this record was set by a woman. Not only that, Dorito’s research confirmed a quarter (23%) of UK adults want female athletes to be celebrated more with 240 statues of sportspeople currently in the UK but only three recognising women.

The mural celebrated Chloe’s achievements whilst encouraging people to rethink their personal biases, in the process landing 114 pieces of coverage with a combined OTS of 818 million, 2.26 million reach and a whopping 27.7k engagements across social media.

Alongside the mural reveal we facilitated interviews with Chloe Kelly and top media outlets such as The Independent, Mail Online, BBC Look North and talkSPORT. 100+ pieces of coverage were achieved across national, consumer, regional, and broadcast media.
